L’histoire de Chacnaq 1er
Les travaux des paléontologues et historiens démontrent sans équivoque que les Berbères étaient présents en Egypte depuis sa constitution. Nous retrouverons ensuite des inscriptions lybiques sur la pierre de rosette. Des tifinaghs récents qui remontent au moins au Ve siècle avant notre ère, date du mausolée d’Abelessa. Les Imazighen Mashaouash, Libous orientaux de Cyrénaïque étaient en contact direct avec les l’Egypte ancienne. En 1200 avant J.C. la civilisation libyque avait même boulerversé l’équilibre de la Méditerranée orientale en envahissant l’Egypte. C’est à cette époque que le Berbères inventèrent une roue inconnue jusqu’alors et apprennaient aux Grecs à atteler quatre chevaux.
A la fin de la XXIème dynastie égyptienne, Sheshonk (Chachnaq 1er), grand chef militaire des Mashaouash, obtint du Pharaon Siamon, dont l’armée était en grande partie composée d’Imazighen, l’autorisation d’organiser un culte funeraire pour son pére Namart, un privilège exceptionnel.
A la mort de Psossenes II en 950 av. JC qui avait succédé à Siamon, Sheshonk s’attribua la dignité royale et fonda la XXIIème Dynastie qu’il ligitima en mariant son fils, Osorkon, la fille de Psoussens II, la princesse Makare et installa un autre de ses fils comme grand pretre d’Amon Thbes.
Sheshonk établit sa capital Boubastis, installa les hommes de sa tribue dans des terres du delta du Nil et leur constitua des fiefs.
Une nouvelle féodalité prit pied en Egypte. L’an zéro amazigh se refère donc à cette date historique de 950 av. JC ou Sheshonk fut monté sur le trône et fonda la XXIIème Dynastie.

Les Imazighen fêtent aussi la nouvelle année le 12 janvier, ce qui correspond donc au 1er jour du mois Yennayer, aussi le premier jour du calendrier julien. Notre calendrier actuel est le calendrier grégorien.
Le calendrier agraire amazigh & l’horoscope amazigh
L’année agraire amazighe, comme toutes celles de l’aire méditerranéenne est découpée
en quatre saisons : tagrest (hiver), tafsut (printemps), iwilen (hiver), amewan
(automne). Chacune des quatre saisons comporte quatre signes ou symboles «
astrologiques », dont un symbole « majeur » (celui de la saison), qui détermine les trois
autres signes de son groupe ; ainsi, chaque individu a un symbole fort, celui de la saison
où il est né, et un signe personnel, qui correspond au mois de sa naissance.
La succession des signes astrologiques (quoique ce qualificatif est inapproprié,
l’horoscope amazighe ne se référant pas aux astres) se répartit selon le tableau suivant :
1/ Tagrest (hiver) : c’est l’époque de l’endormissement, mais aussi du renouvellement
; on prépare l’année à venir, on prend les dispositions nécessaires pour le reste de
l’année : labours, semailles, coupe de cheveux… C’est une période axée sur le travail, le
tissage, d’où son symbole fort : le peigne à tisser.
2/ Tafsut (printemps) : période de la renaissance et du renouveau ; fécondité de la
terre et fortification du bétail ; exposition à titre préventif et curatif à la pluie qui tombe à
cette période ; en cas de sécheresse cérémonie dédiée à Anzar, divinité de la pluie.
Symbole majeur.
3/ Iwilen (Eté) : Période des moissons et des récoltes de fruits, du miel ; séchage des
poteries ; c’est la saison de l’exubérance et de la lumière ; fête du solstice d’été
(Laânsra), feux de joie ; fête de l’Awussu (mois d’août), rites d’aspersion, d’ablutions et
de baignades (voeux, prévention et guérisons…)
Symbole majeur : le Marteau.
4/ Amewan (Automne) : Saison des labours et de la préparation de la terre, récoltes
des olives et vie axée sur la famille, la maison. Fête de l’Amenzu n- Tgherza, (les
semailles)
Symbole majeur : la Maison (ou la Croix).
